Charity Christmas Cards

I know it’s a bit early to be talking about Christmas but I have a good reason.

Charidee!

Regular readers of my blog may have seen this post http://christinalouisemartin.blogspot.com/2010/03/rainbow-gallery.html about the Rainbow Gallery.

It’s an arts and crafts project which gives learning disabled adults the chance to be creative and to sell their work. It builds confidence and self-esteem, and develops skills.

My brother attends the gallery once a week. He was never one for working with his hands before, but it’s brought him on in leaps and bounds, and he’s turned out some lovely stuff.

Including his latest design ‘Stockings’ which was chosen, along with five others, to be made into the charity Christmas cards this year.
