It strikes me that there are no women in this line up. Is this because the women were always impeccably dressed and styled? Or were women not allowed on TV before 1979? (I hear the rules were only relaxed because a lady-girl became prime minister! The very idea!)
I'm still waiting to see a female contestant. I'll have my camera at the ready!
The final gentleman looks like some kind of sculpture - it's as if he's made of the same stuff all the way through.
Would you believe he has seven children? They're out there somewhere. We'll surely recognise them if we see them.
There were occasional female contestants for Jim to ogle - including Daphne off eggheads
